This is a film based on the Cristeros War that happened in the mid to late 1920′s. It was a rebellion against the Mexican government for their persecution of the Catholic Church due to the anti-clerical laws within the Mexican Constitution of 1917. It was an interesting three years. Thus ends your history lesson for the day. The film looks like it could be good.
