This movie is based on the true story of the Bondurant brothers of Virginia in the book ‘The Wettest County in the World’. During the Depression the Boundurant Bros. started running shine whiskey. They took the law into their own hands when the actual law tried to strong-arm them and take a percentage of their profits.
The trailer looks good and it solidified my theory that Gary Oldman is one of the best actors of any generation. He can play anything and anyone. I will have to check this out when it hits theaters in August.
