This looks to be one of those ‘friends come in all shapes and sizes’ type movies. Frank (Played by the versatile Frank Langella) is a retired jewel thief who is living out his twilight years in a small town. His kids are worried about him so they buy him a robot. Did I mention this is set in the near future? I didn’t? Oh, well, it is set in the near future. Better? Good. Anyway, the robot is programed to take care of Frank and help improve his life. Frank ends up teaching it how to be a thief and they bond. It looks to be a heart-warming scifi story that is worth checking out. Look for it in August.
