I see the title for this movie and the first thing that pops into my head is this:

But the Beastie Boys song has nothing to do with this new Arnold Schwarzenegger flick…. Except for the title.

One of the best assault teams on the planet, an elite special operations team of DEA agents, executes a tactical raid on a cartel safe house. What appears to be a typical raid, in fact turns out to be an elaborate theft. After hiding $10 million in stolen cash, the team believes their secret is safe – that is until someone begins assassinating members of the team, one-by-one.

I am a fan of Arny. Granted there have been some questionable film decisions in his career, he is still entertaining. In ‘Sabotage’ the former Governator has the safety net of really good screenwriters. David Ayers and Skip Woods co-wrote this one with Ayers also directing.  It is the mind and eye of Ayers that provides the safety net. He has written several solid films. (Training day, U-571, The Fast and the Furious) Because that I am hopeful. Also there is a good cast surrounding the big man.

‘Sabotage’ looks interesting and it seems like Mr. Schwarzenegger is making the correct role decisions for this stage of his career. I really liked his turns in ‘The Last Stand’ and ‘The Expendables 2’ the last couple years. (I have yet to see ‘Escape Plan’ but I will get to it) All that gives me confidence in his choices and the potential of this movie. Right now this is slated for a mid-April release.
